She got life because it was a murder attempt against a president, the leader of our country you know, plus she was apart of the manson family still. I'm pretty sure she had other charges with that, they just don't talk about them.

I honestly find it bullshit that she got life for attempted murder (which it barely even classifies as that) when we have rapists and child molesters out there on the streets that get out of prison in 5-6 years TOPS.Our legal system truly makes me laugh.

Bugliosi's book is not meant to be an in-depth account of the life of the Manson members. It was and still is a legal/detective book. It does not in no way provide psychological explanation of why they became what they are..murderers. I thought Helter Skelter provided a good evidence on how LA police made so many blunders and how Manson was captured. No, the book will not tell you the live of these psychos.

Let's see bitch is uneducated, slept with Old Spahn, absolutely have no sense of consequence and yet she's preaching about saving the environment. She only used the "saving environment" to gain sympathy. Manson liked putting FUR on his buggies and they practically left Barker Ranch even Spahn Ranch into a squatter zoneShe only did that to gain notoriety and favoritism from Manson.

Your being logical when explaining why she should understand how her pointing a gun at anyone should end her up in jail. If you look at the manson family in general, none of them seem to understand any of their actions and want to face any consequences. All of them have shown little remorse and general understanding of what they have done and the lives they have affected. So I would forget about being logical , just throw away the key.

actually, none of the books that are out there for the general public to read about Lynette or Charles are at all truthful. Ed Sanders is an out and out liar, as is the BUG (Bugliosi). Their books are not the truth.These people are out to make a buck and the more sensational their writings, the more money they rake in.Until you know Manson and Fromme, one cannot pass judgement.
