he doesnt resolve all his problems with killing people, he frames the ones he doesnt want to kill, - eg, his girlfriends exhusband.

Yes... He is a sociopath who, at a young age, was trained by his father [[a cop]] to only kill those who were killers themselves.You see, Dexter can't help but to kill people. His Need is too strong, as with a lot of APD patients (I'm not saying all Anti-socials are killers, only that most murderers are anti-social) and people like it becomes he overcomes this and actually adds to society.Make sense?
