You also have the option of pause and rewind with any video. It is not necessary to keep pace with the video. I have been there myself and crocheted at a snail's pace when I was first learning.

how about explaining EVERY step?this makes no sense unless you do!also you are going way too fast!all these videos suck for someone who is trying to learn.

What do you need help with? I have the basic granny square posted in slow motion if that is what you are looking for. I also have a plain chain video tutorial if you need to learn how to do the chain.

This is a great vid - thanks for posting. But I am still having trouble starting the square off! My Grandma taught me how to do granny sqaure balnkets in the last 2 1/2 years and i can do the main bit and the edge but always have had trouble staring it off and before my grandma got really sick and died she would always do the starts for me and Ive tried many times but can not get it to work for me - are you able to help me at all?Thanks so much,Michelle
