haha good one....actually i dont rem reading any incident where a plane went down coz of turbulence...toking bout big jets....have read stuff where the GA pilots have entered a storm and after 5 mins(which is ALOT) come out 90 degrees to their heading o sumthing

IF they fly planes through hurricanes, then any average storm is a piece of cake.

Planes are build to hold of huge storms, you can practically fly through a hurricane with it, but it get's a little jumpy when you do. Btw, the chance your airplane crashes is: smaller then bitten by a shark. And just to make it more stupid: the chance you get bitten by a shark is smaller then dying of a coconut on your head...

Yup, its pretty normal. The chance of your plane going down is... 1 in millions, cant remember. But your more likely to die in a car, the a plane.

can turbulence bring a plane down? i was flying into nc and we had turbulence and i freaked out.......the plane was rising and dropping....is that normal...and safe???
