i love this song. I had a babysitter who would sing her own babysitter blues when she had us. Babysitting is dangerous and hard. The worst kids I babysat chased me around with the hose and buckets of water outside. I made 3 bucks an hour. I was only 11, so it could've been worse, but not by much!Thanks for putting this up! The movie was made b4 i was born, but I grew up on it just the same and love it!"I got the babysitting blues!"

I think that Karen Carpenter sings Blues much better thas Elizabeth Shue , she is even profesional, she is an actress .karen is a legend singing the blues .did you guys got my point ????

Oh, for Chrissake! Does NOBODY get my point? I was using th Karen Carpenter reference in response to casual music listeners who have stated that Elisabeth Shue can't sing because apparently you are apparently supposed to have the voice of an angel when you sing the blues rather that passion & soul. THE WHOLE FRICKIN' POINT OF THIS SCENE IS THAT SHE SUPPOSEDLY CAN'T SING! Some of the greatest blues singers that I have ever heard ironically can't carry a tune in a bucket.

That is exactly my point! I was mainly responding to all of these dunderheads that have said "she can't sing for shit" & refuse to see that THIS IS THE WHOLE FRICKIN' POINT OF THIS SCENE!, to imply that Elisabeth could not sing & end up making up a kick-ass blues song right on the spot. Besides, I don't think she has the best voice overall but she has an AWESOME VOICE FOR THE BLUES!
