Manila (Ninoy Aquino) International Airport

Traffic at the Manila (Ninoy Aquino) International Airport. I think the Cebu Pacific Airline was diverted on the runway to allow Gulf Air and Continental Airlines to land from the same direction at different time intervals. China Airlines A340 Airbus flew in onto the same runway from the opposite direction some minutes earlier. Quite an interesting sight to those of us who know little about aviation or air traffic control.

the first Cebu Pacific that appeared is different from the last one. The first one was an Airbus A319 and the last one was an Airbus A320. =)

Nope, not Continental. It's very easy to figure out that a 737-800 cannot fly transpacific. Continental does not serve Manila, but Continental Micronesia does.

i agree, there was no divertion occured on that part. im an atc from singapore (vatsim), naturally after the aircraft land she should exit the active at once, if im not mistaken that Cebu Air turn onto runway 31 for a taxi to domestic ramp (domestic airport), not for the gulf air to land on a short time interval, that gulf air is just following that 5J on short final (traffic sequence)..then those next acft are just normal, that COA and GFA to terminal 1..i bet you understand this mate.
