Haha! Sure it's Steve's solo. He invented it back in 1973. I just wanted to hint at the fact that Daryl is a brilliant musician as well - he just has the ungrateful job of filling in for Steve (or Mike's bass parts). Saw Genesis back in July 2007 in Frankfurt. Still great, incredible sound, but the magic is gone. Tony could have done way better with the patches and the lowering of keys(Phil ain't a youg lad no more) hurt a bit...I hope these lads know about your work. They should.

Steve's solo!!! :D Thanks. Yeah, well I wanted people to submit their own versions of the electric solo on top of my playing just the chords. One guy did and did a great job with it (see the attached videos).

Awesome! You actually managed to faithfully transcribe and play (!) the keyboard parts and bass lines. I started in the 70s trying to play Genesis tunes on the piano (I recorded the vinyls onto a tape machine and played them back at half speed). You actually managed to add guitar expressiveness to the kayboard parts. I also love your touch to avoid Steve's (Daryl's) guitar solo and stick to comping. Beyond pristine! These are the words from a humble guy who became a musician because of Genesis.

Great! You've got over 50,000 views and so far almost 500 people make the effort to comment...Do yourself the favour and compile a CD. Even direct-marketing will sell you a good amount.Need venture capital? Keep it up, it's beautiful.
