Yeah slash's solo album will come out first. But in an interview he said they wrote around 15 songs over the summer for velvet revolver. It's just a matter of them getting a new singer and then comming up with lyrics.

Exactly, so at least 2 years, Jackass. Just think, VR tour following the release of a new album in order to promote the CD. Therefore to achieve this, they shall be touring for a minimum of 1 more year, and then they have to produce the album.
