Of course not, it would slide to one side."We're not talking about a jet of air; we're talking about a shaped beam of sound that terminates at a specific point.Say you made that shape a bowl - if the beam can push the paper out of the way, why couldn't it hold the paper up?

Well, obviously, they would fall though it.They arnt claiming to have some force-field magic here, simply localised precise presure sensation.This is still a very cool piece of technology.
