'Darker' is my new favourite song, 'Firesuite' is great too. I'm in a band and if I had to pick a band that I'd most like to sound like, it would be DOVES.

I dunno, They sound like a lot of shoe gazing music from the early 90's and late 80's like catherine wheel, ride, stuff like that. Still a great band though

I remember seeing Doves when they joined Happy Mondays supporting Oasis in Wembley in 2000. They were getting booed when they came on as nobody had heard of them, by the end of the set nobody wanted them to leave! This is still my favourite Doves song, closely followed by there goes the fear and rise! Can't wait for their new album to be finished :o)

i guess its true the underplayed i just heard this the other day and thought it was a new indie band well at least i can listen to the stuff they have made cool cool nice sound

Can it get any better than sharing the Doves with someone who has never heard them before, simply because they are extremely underrated and underplayed. Rock on Doves - a loyal and loving fan base is all any band needs and you've got the best of that. :D
