ventnor is the best, all of my family live there & i visit regularly, the carnival in the summer is the best i always take part in it as my family have there own float. & if uve got nothing nice to say about ventnor then go away ! i love ventnor xx

I just came off holiday from Ventnor, i was staying in the Red Funnel holiday villas, yes the fishery sometimes smells a bit funny. But its natural, the beach isn't complete without the smell of seaweed! I went to the Spy Glass once and had the whitebait, which was very nice. Its a shame the Mill Bay had to change their menu though :( I'm already missing the sea air, and the sea view and i've only been away from it for a day!

Well said Jack! Obviously a Ventnor "boy" judging by your user name. I love Ventnor and, call me weird if you like, I like the smell of seaweed. There's a pint waiting for you next time I'm playing at The Spyglass!

Ventnor does not stink. It is the seaweed that is around Blakes fishing shop. It is now the Poo Palace because that is not even in use anymore. Hope you enjoy Shanklin and I hope you don't find anything that stinks there - though I can name a few things!!!
