spielberg movies are lame, sentimental, and rarely thought provoking. i respect the guy but he gets too much credit for regurgitating the same old schtick over and over again.

Saving Private Ryan is a beautiful piece of art in filmmaking. It is either my favorite movie of all time or one of my favorite movies of all time.Steven Spielberg is my hero I adore so many of his movies. I look up to him with great respect and admiration.

Spielberg is a genius. Schlinder's List bring me to tears every single time I watch it. One day I hope to get his thumbs up one of my films; if so, I'll die a happy woman. He's my measuring stick. His work blows me away.

It´s beyond me why Saving Private Ryan didn´t win the Oscar for Best Picture; Shakespeare in love was a good comedy, even I cracked up in several moments as I watched this flick, but Spielberg´s film is a masterpiece, what the heck were the jury thinking about?

yeah I agree, life is beautiful is very good. but about the way of directing saving private ryan is better.
