Ok,Judaism wasn't classified as a religion until later. The faith of the people in the bible goes back past hinduism. Faith is a relationship, and religion is yeah, basically control. Early christians ( Messianics ) lived by faith, they were also Jews but later it was paganized and then my people were thrown to lions for Roman entertainment.
