Yeah that is how that expression goes. "The LOVE of money is the root of all evil." However do you suppose that Mother Teresa might have loved to have all the money in the world to accomplish much more then she was doing already? I wonder if she then would have loved money and all the more good she could be able to do with it for the poor people.

Well said my friend. I love this song. I remember when it came out back in the day many people sent XTC letters and bibles saying to repent and what not. If anyone can find the interview with Andy partidge online he does state the meaning of this song. From what I can remember he does believe in god.

Personally i find the bible is just a way to make people do what is right and if they do the wrong thing they go to hell. So now more and more people are coming into the reality of it. "god" didn`t give free will or anything because he didn`t exsist and if jesus did exsist he probably went insane from people telling him he was the son of god. People only believe in "god" because they were brain washed or are so depressed with their life they have to believe cause its the last thing they have.

If a person like Mother Teresa was given a large amount of money would that money still be considered the root of all evil? I think it really depends on the type of person in control of money. Some natural occurring drugs can help bend ones perception of reality or expand consciousness. However I would not recommend a shit load of LSD. That would be too much extreme food. Get the book Essential Ohsawa and find out for yourself what level you are.

i said vet not vegitarian and sometimes i do put animals before people because they dont care if you are rich or poor ugly or beautiful- if you give them your heart- they give you theirs. they are loving compassionate beings and people like you prove that few humans nowadays are. and PURPOSES? to be our companion, to be part of our family. i do not see how this relates at all to the existance of god. i think you can not face the fact that god doesnt exist you are changing the subject to avoid it
