Since you asked what's the song from 6:47 on following "Where did our Love go? is "Baby Love" at 7:41
blackteacher1 (October 13, 2008 at 12:29 am)
That song is the Supremes first number 1 hit - "Where did our Love go?"

true! she didn't waste any of her settlement money at all but $160,000 won't last long, especially if your husband is a money grabbing, no good little sod who doesn't care what happens to you, that's why she sued Motown because she felt cheated out of millions

I adore Flo's fire and talent, but that doesn't mean I'm not aware of the fact she had some demons that caused her to self-destruct for awhile. Her severe discontent was hurting herself and the group's morale and performances. What's your point? We all know that. Berry was within his rights to fire Flo, sure, but he and Diana - as people who claimed to be her "family" - didn't do her any favors by holding her alcoholism against her w/o bothering to understand the root emotional causes of it.
bcoombs1988 (October 8, 2008 at 8:48 am)
Of course alcoholics have to support their addiction. I didn't mean that Florence literally didn't waste a single cent. My point is that she did not "squander" and "waste" hundreds of thousands of dollars of settlement money, as you erroneously claim with a rather stupefying boldness. Oh, and you can be as patronizing as you like with the "hons" and whatnot - you're still wrong about the situation of her settlement money.

Thanks, but we're already well aware that Berry fired Flo. She got fat, drank too much, and started showing up late and looking disheveled at rehearsals and public appearances. Berry did what any good boss would do with an unreliable employee---he fired her.
InfiniteMusic (October 8, 2008 at 8:03 am)
Ditch the rose-colored glasses, hon. Flo couldn't manage her money, had a drinking problem, and got fat. When she started showing up late and looking disheveled at rehearsals and public appearances, Berry was forced to cut her loose. Flo got herself fired. Years later, even Diana spoke of Flo's inability to make good decisions. If you honestly believe she never wasted a dime, you're naive. Flo wasted money on alcohol and a lot of things. So you're the only one talking s---.
