Yes it is real. Tis is a tokusatsu adaptation of Spider-Man, which later inspired Super Sentai which inspired Power Rangers. Mainly because of the large robot; Leopardon which features in this series.

its damn real(no shit).japanese thought that spiderman wouldnt be so attractive to jp audience if he was an ordinary human.so in the shiw spiderman is an alien from the planet SPIDER(these jp people are really creative)and as any other alien that respects itself he has a robot.i am not joking dude that story is real(unfortunately)
