However, the way things are going in this world... a falling dollar... rising inflation... looks like many banks may go under now... where is anyones money safe?The way I see it, you have two safe choices:1) Invest in companies producing oil or war...or...2) Start stuffing the mattress.

So, the gist of was aquestion as to where I can trust my money.The Bank, stock market and mortgage are obviously out. So I was thinking on dumpinga load into an offshore gambling account.What do you think?

J. Todd--I just have a question for you. Would I be safer with my money in an online poker account or putting it in . . . Oh say Indymac or maybe a mortgage. God knows stocks have been good lately.Hmn . . . . well you can't trust them offshore bastards you know. Better go with the liquor store lotto. Or forget thelotto and just invest in liquor.

You know, it's funny (well, actually, it isn't, but you know what I mean), but I believe they actually *do* expect the people to believe the B.S. these idiotic congressmen dish out...I mean, some people still believe all the crap that Bush and Cheney told them. It certainly doesn't say a lot for what these congressmen (and president and VP) think of the American people, and their ability to sort lies from truth.
