TzoTzomatzin:When the earliest immigrants came here, there were no laws surrounding this land. Those living here also had no concept of ownership. Europeans have more rights to this land because they are the ones that built the economy and turned this country into one of the economic powers of the world. I know Mexicans are "North Americans" but they do reside in a different country. You also need to realize that the indigenous people fought over land amongst each other.

i understand Madehero, but early Americans broke the same laws , you are enforcing now, thats called the "H" word, moreover, mexicans are half native half european, they have more right to America than you do, but Nooone is saying that, they juts want the equal rights, like africans were rewarded, it makes sense to me. Mexicans are North Americans also by the way!.

Tzotzomatzin:It is a common assumption that this land belongs to Mexicans. Yes, my ancestors came to this land, and yes, we waged war on those that occupied this land. However, those people were not Mexicans. Mexicans resided mostly in central Mexico. You also seem to forget that the world we know today was shaped by war. Boarders don't go back to the way they were just because people want to leach off of the success of another country. Also, no one is indigenous to this continent.

its not your country though, your country is in Europe, and if your ancestors can falsify documentation and create their own fantasy country , so can mexican migrants.. Im well aware of Americans 200 years of history, and its wars, mostly fought against eachother... Nothing to do with America or Americans.. you are a hyphenated sqautter, European- American, not Aemrican at all. dsalvat1:Engineers wont be the ones taking the "lower level" jobs. We currently have many unemployed citizens that are ready and willing to work. In a free market economy, there is a place for everyone, but sometimes they need to make their place.
