you people need to get off Ray Barbee's jock. The reason "it looks so smooth" is the hypnotizing Indian music, slow motion and Stacey Peralta's sly editing techniques. It's good, BUT NOT AMAZING even for back then!! I remember doing 75-80% of all these tricks back then as a 13 year old kid and I wasn't even sponsored!!! The only trick Barbee really had down pack was the no-comply..

looking at it again... (referring to 1:17) his body definitely starts goofy and ends goofy, so his body 360. and the board does the same thing... but he doesn't 360 ollie because there's no pop. I think he just did a 360 shove it with a 360 body variel! that's fucking crazy.

it's funny that with the advent of a lot of easy oldschool tricks coming back into style, still I never really see guys doing stalls. We used to call it a nosepick when you'd stall on the front truck. And you can flip in and flip out with so many combinations you'd think you'd see it more.
