Boy do I ever remember those places...Pep McGuires, the Stratton, Bens Best, the Cue Club...I forgot about Jerry Storch. Great times...great memories...times I'll never forget.

I believe the 5th Vagrant was the organist,Jerry Storch, if I recall correctly.Saw them scores of times. Best was @ Westbury when they opened for the Animals and combined their 3 sets into one. Destroyed everyone!

Oh yeah, 1965/1966 Action House (hammond organ) stole the show.

This is as close as you;re gonna get to the Vagrants' live sound. They were a great live act!

Gotta put my two cents in here....... I use to hang out with Leslie alot in 1969. I was a drummer in a band called Santuary we played the Action House many times. Pete Sabatino joined my band after Leslie became Mountain. Great times, my lead singer Jon Ventura co-wrote 6 songs on the first Mountain LP.

I'd also hang out with the Vagrants at the Cue Club in Rego Park Queens. I knew Larry Weinstein (West) rather well.He was in the music business for a short time, but after the Vagrants split up, I lost track of him
