After listening to the lyrics, I like the song even more because it fits the scene perfectly. Supertramp, filled with optimism and lessons learned in the wild, sets off for home only to realize that he's trapped by a raging river that was solid ice when he arrived months ago. Long after the song is over and Supertramp returns to the abandoned bus, he realizes that he is never going to be able to share what he's learned.

One of the parts that crushed me was when he was offered of being adopted, but said they would discuss it when he came back. Such a good movie.
