I am not Iranian but I do read alot of multicultural fiction. I ABSOLUTELY LOVED LOVED LOVED "Funny In Farsi"!!! That book was so hilarious! I do think people are people and family is family and so I could relate to many parts of the book regarding family, etc. That was one of the FEW books that I insisted my friends & family purchase - 6 did, to my knowledge. I've ordered her 2nd book - can't wait to read! :0)
