Great horse! Great Race!

henrythenavigator has also had a long season....ravens pass had a little break in the middle of the summer...on this neutral surface with the horses getting a rest the only change that might result is that the duke might have been closer to the leaders.

You could rerun this race 1000 times and the result wouldn't be any different.Ravens Pass doesn't need steroids either to help him win.

Curlin obviously had an off day when losing to Ravens Pass at the end of an arduous 2008 campaign but that can happen to the best of us. He is still the best in the world and I would love to see what he would do to Ravenpass and Henrythenavigator after a nice relaxing 3 or more month spell. Curlin in my honest unbiased Aussie opinion is a beast to be reckoned with.

Umm...I'm not sure how that makes American's ignorant! Jailbreakso was talking about Irish trained horses being best. I'm sorry I don't have the vast knowledge of horse bio's that you do, but I was just going off of what he said.

Finishing second to China in gold medals(which is expected since the Olympics were in China) but in overall medals, USA won...

You 'dominated' the Olympics by finishing second to China. Great wins in the "World Series" of baseball by American teams too. Wankers.

Oh my god ye americans are so ignorant . Raven's Pass is an American bred horse, owned by Princess Haya of Jordan, trained by John Gosden based in Newmarket, England and ridden by Lanfranco Dettori from Italy!< Not an Irish horse. Though Henrythenavigator, also beat Curlin........and Pro ride synthetic isnt our surface of choice either!
funnyfootlong (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
Yeah...you can have ONE horse race...we still have almost every sport in the Olympics, which we dominated!
funnyfootlong (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
Umm...NO...just because an Irish horse won a race doesn't mean you train them better! Take a look at the Dubai World Cup...I didn't see any Irish trained horses winning that race! |
