Yes, you are right . But Alexi is a genius ! Maybe he doesn't have anymore inspiration, but in Hatebreeder, Follow the reaper or Something wild the songs was not chorus/verse/chorus/verse and they was very varied . But let us stop the debate . COB is one of the best band ever and we can't judge them .

More people like this song than people like the whole album hatebreeder. But basically, the original COB fans loved them because it was yngwie malmsteen neoclassical, with an updated vocal style and some very scarce black metal element, mainly the use of synth strings for a symphonic sound. Sure he doesnt use the Harmonic Minor scale anymore, and he doesnt do as much sweep arpeggios, but after 10 years of making amazing neoclassical, would you keep doing the same thing? We have Yngwie for that.

we used to joke there would be a sell out show with cradle of filth children of bodom lamb of god slipknot and korn, it would be called COF-COB-LOG-KERN:featuring slipknot
NorthTreath (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
I know, it's a shame ... But we always have Kalmah or Wintersun ! But I think that the reason of this change is money, look : the 11/11, COB will go to make a concert with Slipknot !
