i don't get that. seems like it wasn't worked out all the way and they only had up to the dark tournament done. I'd love to see a spin off that follows hiei though, that would be sweet.

DBZ is more consistent in its quality. The first two arcs in YYH blow everything but the Piccolo and Saiyan arcs out of the water, but the last two arcs in YYH can't really be compared to the first two.
