Solder is correctly pronounced sŏd'ər, however our narrorator is correct in assuming that regionally the spelling has now converted people to mispronouncing the word and that often makes the misprounciation show up in the dictionary after a few years. It appears to be common in britian/canada, and me being a "Stupid American", I tend to look these things up and trust Merriam Webster and Rogets in such matters.

Maybe its area-specific, cause i never heard of a silent L before, specifically not in soldering...

This is very informative and shows how simple solar panels are made. It would be helpful if someone would tell the narrator that the "L" in Solder is silent.

These ones in the video are garbage believe me I used to make them. They are very expensive, and they break easy. It's been years since I worked and made these but I assume their must be better ways to make them now.
