it was the unexpected theatrics and the amplitude of the "dunk" (remember he jumped off both feet)...watching a replay of it will never do it true justice, and of course it doesn't really matter that it wasn't a dunk at all because the moment was spectacular...best thing since vince carter put on a shown in the dunk contest

Can someone tell me what made this dunk so amazing and outstading that it deserved all the hype it got?Im not hating but i honestly dont see it.It was a 1 handed ally oop.I honest to god on everything i have dont see what made it so amazing.

i think he jumped so high and so far back that he culdnt reach the rim...so i guess its better than a dunk

but you have to know that it was so special that he won..nobody came up to an idea like this...and i don't know if you had seen it but one guy made a lay-up in slamdunk contest and they give him a fifty just for fun;)
