I remember "Killdozer". There were a lot of TV movies that could fall under the category of a "grindhouse" movie.

I first saw this when I was 8 years old and it made quite an impression. It was inspired by the 1944 Theodore Sturgeon novella "Killdozer!". Also the 1974 ABC TV Movie Of The Week led to a Marvel comic book. I recently made a Killdozer game in Flash, where you get to play Killdozer, ridding your island of pesky construction workers. If you Google on Killdozer Video Game you'll find it.
