Of course it's a lip sync. This was 1969, for crying out loud! NOBODY CARED BACK THEN! Here's the thing: **People wanted to hear the song version on the record and see the performer "live"**. The artists were more than happy to oblige as they were on TV to sell records, not do live performances.Get real, people. It's was and really still is all about selling the song on TV, not performing for artistic sakes.
