a drum solo does not have to have any beat/groove/rytheme/structure, you play what you feel.

WELL as much as I'm not a huge fan of this solo, I do have to let you know that there is a quarter note pulse throughout the whole solo so the correct beat complaint is a moot point.

im curious how many people posting comments on these drum solo videos are actually drummers. Granted there isnt a steady 4 4 beat in there, listen to those drum roles. i wouldnt say anything negative until you can post yourself doing something better.. |
