Why are Afro-Carribeans ashame of their African connection or roots?Just like Blacks in America,they've been taught to hate Africa.They erroeneously believe that Africa is just what the western propaganda media portrays ie disease and starvation(poverty).They don't let you know that there also millions of Europeans living in the continent who have no other place to call home than Africa.There is more beauty in Africa than anywhere else in the world.Just be yourself and be proud of who you are.

CAPE VERDEAN zouk are the best zouk now.I dont agree when they call kizomba,colazouk,cabozouk,etc.For me it's all zouk.
