What commercials? And maybe she could have been Captain Janeway (the female Kirk) If her husband Alec didnt believe TV was "Below them" Alec said that to one of his little brothers. Patrick Stewart and the Friends cast have made more money than Kim Basinger. Even though Movies are made for the customer and TV for the Advertiser.

First of all, I don't playahate anyone. This was just my observation. Second of all, after all of the stuff that you mentioned, I can see your point about why she may have taken the path she did career wise.

Remember she is agoraphobic. She could have asked her agent to put her in Star Wars in a second. There should have been a female Jedi. She was in 8 miles because she slept on American History X. She never aged, but by Door in the Floor, the divorce hit her like a President. Not to mention she spends most of her time with her kid. Come to think of it, she could slap Arny out of the California governor's house. Save the playahate for someone else.
