o, ok

Sorry, but no. You DO have barrel movement before the bullet exits the barrel.

Simply crappy knowledge. That flex is exactly why a cheap scope is destroyed by a heavy-recoiling rifle. Good scope=it lives to shoot again.

Simply crappy mounting.
GetMeThere1 (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
Design flaw there. Barrels MUST flex; the trick is for them to flex consistently. But scope mounts and rings? No way!A better mounting system is needed. Note: I don't believe the scope would have flopped the way it did (across the rings) if the base hadn't snapped so far out of place. IOW, the rings/scope itself, would probably be OK if the mount were more stable. Eventually, I think that much flexing will kill the scope.

Yes, I looked up the XM109 and the 25mm isn't what you were thinking. It was going to be a 25x59mm GRENADE round, (it is basically a smaller grenade round than the 40mm.) Look up 25x59mm round and tell me what you think.

Differs. Some use 25mm some use 30 such as the Apache and Warthog airplane. Massive bullets. Look up the XM109 for Barrett it was canceled but was going to be a 1.00 CAL or 25MM gun. Twice of what this thing is.

that gun will blow your fucking head off
MindBullets2142 (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
the only thing is, the round is long gone before the barrel even flexes that tiny bit, yes, it does flex, but after the round is out, its stilla kickass rifle
Battlecorps101 (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
The Apache uses 30mm, not 20mm |
