Buster edited and cut all his films-he purposely slowed it down for those frames to look like slow motion.

I like your video clip and have rated it as awesome. Please check out my clip of silent movie star tobacco cards. They include: Buster Keaton, Charlie Chaplin, Rudolph Valentino, Mary Pickford, Lillian Gish, Tom Mix, Jackie Coogan, Harold Lloyd and many more.

oh, by the way, the fact that you played all the instruments is VERY impressive. You are well rounded :)

wow! that was awesomeI really like how well you accented each movement.I'm entering this year's competition. Are you gonna try again?

Very well done. Thought you hit a lot of excellent spots. It's one thing to wallpaper a scene, and quite another to actualy score a scene and work out timings, adjusting accordingly. Felt natural throughout. Again, great stuff. Keep up the good work!

Thanks. The Keaton is the most recent. I have one from "He Who Gets Slapped" where I did the click track by clapping my hands while watching the movie-- totally old school. The new software is much less stessful to use. Luckily, since all the instruments are real, I can preserve the old sound.

Wonderful piece of work! I did filmmusic myself at the beginning of smpte-times. You have the feeling and craftsmanship to do more.I hope you get some offers trough youtube-publishing!

I agree that this one is the best. It was the most recent. In fact, I had never scored to picture before I did the first one (the clown one). Also, I think my love for Buster Keaton made me work harder on it. Thanks for the detailed critique. These clips have been sitting in a hard drive for a while. Glad to get them out. |
