lovefaithhopelove - yep, what a pity Tanya didn't cut endless tracks about crying into her beer. So sad that country music always o make prisoners of anybody who dares to break free. Tanya's got a tremendously strong identity as a performer which should be welcomed not criticised. And a tremendous voice.

MCA had shelled out 2.5 million( 7 million in todays economy) to sign Tanya and wanted cross-over, cross-fire results. T&T sold a healthy 700,000 albums and Tanya had her first gold record.
