Yes, this is the best copy (unless you've got a region 2 DVD player and can find the MK2 edition). David Shepard has produced two copies of The General to DVD, and although the one with the Alloy Orchestra's synth score has better image quality, the music for this one captures the mood better, I think. At the same time, Alloy's score for Eisentstein's Strike and Vertov's Man With A Movie Camera were excellent and totally fit the films.
