hey, jadefalcon5, i agree with you. and along the movies you mentioned, I would also add the ending of One Flew Over The Cuckoo`s Nest - it`s just as great as these ones. ... I watch the ending of Amrican Beauty very often and ... I don`t have words just to say...

Best movie ending ever.I love the part where he says "and Janie....And Janie"You can tell he was really reflecting on the love he had for his daughter.

I'm pretty sure american beauty is tying with the shawshank redemption in terms of incredible movie endings.they both carry the heaviest of messages delivered with such simplicity.
