Ahww, I loved Micky in this!Uhh, I feel stupid, but I don't understand the 'dirty parakeet joke.'

It's not a fake. It's a take! Except the dirty parakeet joke; that should have been edited out. They never found out where the editor went to. Who is Barry Took? Has Dick Martin got a fan club? Will Burbank ever recapture that pre-suburban fun it once enjoyed? Stay tooned. It was one of the great American TV shows of the 60s. Like a lot of Americana, it's forgotton until its nearly destoyed by neglect. So, calling all west-coast surfers: find those tapes!

Goldie Hawn had that energy her daughter completely lacks imo.

Is this a take?

Oh man! It sure is a blumin' shame you can't find a good comedy TV show like this these days.

Believe it or not kids, this show "pushed the envelope." :P

Apologies to Contessakitty, as I accidentally marked her message as Spam.Anyway, I disagree about Monty Python. That was sureeal humour rather than fast paced gags and sketches. However, Laugh In's influence was still on UK TV in the 1990s. Noel's House Party had a gag wall, and the Fast Show had a welter of catchphrases and very short sketches, some of which only lasted a couple of seconds!
