I think the biggest issue I have is that this film is mediocre. Walken was engaging as always, but the film as a whole falls flat. As to this scene, the abduction/examination from the film "Fire in the Sky" was a lot more terrifying and convincing. I think the use of updated visual effects would benefit the telling of this tale. This film should have been better, given the source material, and a remake is in order. I'd cast Walken as an older Streiber, narrating the tale as a flashback.

They should make a remake with Chuck NorrisThe aliens would piss themselves when entering his house, blast the wall down and run to their shapceship, make evasive maneuvers when leacing our planet and go through a black hole just for good measure.

Question is..would it let you get close enough to hit it?I mean if they do exist and they do abduct us, they surely have ways to make sure we dont harm them.Kinda like how zoo handlers have ways to not get bitten my tigers/lions etc when checking up on them..They got ways to put them to sleep or paraylze them..

Honestly, due to this movie I immediatly bought a Husky dog, those massive furry ones you always see pulling sleds..just to make me feel safe.I'm 5-10 and 170 pounds, the dog is 200 pounds and massive.It works, I feel safe..but i got the dog because of this scene..Jesus if something like that ever happens to me i dunno what I'd do...

Clearly, the alien is far more frightened of Walken than the other way around...You know, just like the rest of us. :p(Great scene, probably the best in the movie)
