I did indeed think Diskin was far and away different from the first 2 China Drum albums mate, but I just thought it was a natural progression. Diskin wasn't a bad album in itself but IMO wasn't a patch on their first 2.

This is excellent - I was there, just in front of Garett Lee. I have a couple of photos somewhere that I took on the sturdy old festival disposable camera. None of that camera phone nonesense that we get now.PS - I would have found this ages ago if you'd spelt Phoenix properly ;-)

Brilliant!! So glad to see this. Lucky to have seen them 4 times - best one was when Shed 7 supported them at Joiners Arms in Southampton - absolute chaos. COME BACK PLEASE!!
