kimbo, is not a street fighter he was a guy who wasnt good enough to make the nfl, he still bitches that he could of done it. But like i said before, in the garbage backyard fighting he was doing, they called timeouts if they winded, complained about getting kicked, complained about being taken down, a streetfight is a streetfight no rules. Kimbo is a joke! And by the way im a huge fan of the Klitchko brothers, thats why u could be right about the better athletes picking mma in other countries

Well, no need for name calling I can give you that I dont know the situation is in Russia n some other countries. In the u.s. better athletes are drawn to the bigger, higher paying sports. Also, KIMBO was not a street fighter, i saw them call time outs, kimbo complained about being kicked once! it was lame, a street fight has no rules, thats simple to understand. I dont get on to argue, if u make sense ill give it to you, and yes, you could be right about athletes picking mma in other countries

WOW that is one of the most retarded things i have ever heard... I feel bad for you man. You need to stop and think for a little bit. Look at Klitchko brothers and Fedor. Don't listen to the American media, but really look at them. Then look at what is going on in other countries. It takes a certain type of man to be a fighter, and those who do other sports are NOT fighters. Same thing as people say about wrestling, but tell me why every season starts with 120 kids, and ends with 30?

problem with mma and boxing is simple, the best atheletes in the world are not picking either as their sports to focus on. They have been saying this for a long time in boxing, the problem with the heavyweight division is all potential heavyweight champs are playing pro football. Now with mma throw in basketball and soccer(worldwide) why fight in boxing or mma, if you can get paid more in a more popular sport.

they are two different sports .. which one is actually going to likely get you better prepared for a street fight .. mma of course . but the truth is street fights are dirty, if you fight them right they are. no breaks, no time limits kick balls, bite, grab a brick, street fights are brutal, unless ur fighting a puss, the best think in a street fight hit him hard and fast, taking them to the ground in the city on cement, u could get just as injured yourself even if ur on top

a good wrestler could easily get a boxer on his back. And if u actually knew facts, Anderson Silva is the one that wants to fight Roy Jones jr but couldnt because of contract with the ufc. and if you knew anything u would know that Anderson Silva is retiring next year to try and pursue the fight with Roy Jones jr. I am guessing you have never trained actual MMA before and just using opinion and ignorance.
