It's easy to say "I'm in it for the music." Why? Because you enjoy doing it. Oh, wait. It's also PROFITABLE. SO INSTEAD OF DOING IT FOR FUN OR HOBBY, LET'S MAKE A CAREER OUT OF IT.Ever heard of Cast in Bronze? Frank, lead of the group, plays for love. He's been playing a carillon, a 13 ton instrument consisting of bells played through a keyboard style setup, for nearl 40 years. He has a love for music, and his music shows it unlike any other. Doesn't mean he won't churn a profit for it.

... yeah economy money business blah blah blah. its all corporate shit. It never started cause of the money... no one says "hey lets start a band so we can get money. near $100,000 for 60 minutes of shit" "yeah that sounds cool. what should be our image?" "japan style music?" "ah... fuck it"... its always about music first, THEN money

does it matter where they find out about certain songs? no, it only matters if they love them. im pretty sure X Japan doesnt give a shit where their fans heard there music, only that they love to listen to it, so shove your elitist shit up your ass
