dude.. chill out. the point is that how would you call them. pagans could be it, but is not correct word to call a saxon/viking or what ever like that. be cause the saxons, the goth, frisians, berserkers vikings and more were called babarians not only by romans but by more people and i don't know a other term for it..

the point i'm trying to make is that these tribes werent barbarians - that is what the romans called them. it was the romans who were the barbarians. but my point is barbarian is the roman derogatory term for them- would you accept the derogatory insult of your enemy todayif your enemy referred to you as an idiot - would gladly accept his definition of you?
