The PaintPots are good as liners, but not as good as fluidlines. They are not so high pigmented. BLACKGROUND ist OK, because it´s black, but I prefet f/l definitaly. But they are the better bases in the end. Much more smooth and creamy and they dry not so fast and so "hard" like f/l, so the eye shadows stick better to them.I also like to apply it with 224, 194 and so on, but here the edge is smoother and it was only to show THAT it´s possiblwe with such a large, fluffy brush ;-)

I myself use it as an eyeliner with the 209 brush. I love it. I havent tried fluidline yet, or stila smudge pot, so i'm not sure how it compares, but i love it. =]

Thanks! I've already experimented with a few different colors. I like it with blue!

Hi,oh, I already replied, but the answer is away :-(However, I think BG is the PaintPot with best texture. It´s great as base and also as a final eye shadow. I have used it for both.As a base it doesn´t only make the shadows darker - it makes them much brighter and kind of 3-D look, if they are frosty. Gorgeous.

I just got Blackground as a freebie...not sure what to do with it...do you use it as a base for ordinary colors to make them darker? |
