This is probably one of the best songs I have ever heard by a female vocalist and she is definitely in my top 5... Hope Sandoval is an original, which is something in music these days.

it's the sad truth of many good bands who want to stick to their guns about their creativity that they won't get the exposure they deserve because they aren't willing to become record company whores. That's to her credit more than anything.

I've heard in various places that Hope Sandoval is somewhat shy and doesn't really like a tremendous amount of attention. I would imagine that all she has to do in order to get people to show up at a gig is just simply post on her website and by word of mouth, hundreds of people show up.

I think that of nearly every song she's sang and they wrote. It's ironic they have such a limited following. The lyrics, the instruments, the voice, to me are the products of genius- created out of emotional turmoil.
