Is it just me, or did he not actually charge anyone? Charging at an officer would imply that an officer would be directly in it's path. It seemed to drive right on by. I think this may be a classic case of "Officer, why did you fire?", "eeeerm, he was driving right at me?". It's not uncommon for police officers who were "charged" with a vehicle being charged themselves because the car wasn't actually anywhere near them. Also see; "HE'S COMING RIGHT FOR US! *bam*"

It says that he tried to run down two undercover cops, not two of the swat team in the video. So there could have been a "murderous escape" attempt before the video.
