there's a theory out there indicating that the scablands were created by a huge outpouring of a lake, the volume of an ocean from an ancient glacier that had blocked a river over a long period of time and then collapsed, apparently it happened over 500 miles away from scablands and caused a mega tsunami

No. The moon is moving away but at a much, much slower rate then "like an inch a year". If you do the math you find it really hasn't moved that much at all. Go read the article at talkorgins if you actually want to learn something, or you can keep putting your hands over your ears going "lalalalalala" to deperately hold onto whatever beliefs you have.

So letme get this right. A guy came up with this great ideah that the oon stopped moving for like a bllion years and then started again for no reason? Great job.

Yes. But if it had, every water-created valley on earth would look like the scablands and not like they do. The scablands are unique on earth.

Oh please. This has been disproven over and over. Before spewing crap please do some actual research.

Agreed. Besides, it's obvious we're going to be wrong if we try to proof an intelligent being we only believe is true by faith a fairytale.

Ummm this doesn't explain how earth evolved. If the aerth were 4 BILLION years old, the moon would've either crashed into earth or flooded the earth everyday. The moon moves like an inch a year so go back even a billion years and we're dead. Now that's not a problem for a young earth. So this proves absolutely nothing.

Could the scablands formed due to a massive worldwide flood?

I am an Atheist. However, I must say that if an all-powerful god exists then he could have made it look like the Earth is millions of years old when in fact it isn't. That's why I don't waste my time arguing about how fossils prove the Bible is wrong, etc. If God can do anything, then he could certainly fool us humans.

Actually that page only says exactly what I say in my video, and does nothing to support young-earth. |
