I think to completely preclude critics from discussing authorial intention is ridiculous. It is perhaps, even more ridiculous of you to state that you believe in such a preclusion - whilst you offer no explanation as to why, or under who's influence, you arrived at such a belief - as a preliminary ramble before you discuss authorial intension.
