Well, there's no arguing when it comes to scavenger journalism but if it comes from mainstream media.I'm not against Blackwater specifically but the entire idea of military contractors. Independent armed personel in the war zone minding their own business... It simply seems like a trouble.I'd be interested to hear the other side of Nisoor story, though.

OMG you're another one of them..... Another person who's chosen to just believe every bad piece of information printed about Blackwater just becuase it's Blackwater. The amount of true information you don't know about is almost as amazing as the level of total bullshit you've chosen to believe. I knew about Nisoor the day it happened before the news regurgitated it in their opinions worldwide becuase I have personal friends who were there. I don't suppose you did? But still, you believe the news

Private contractors are not peacekeepers... At least not until UN is completely undermined and turned into SNAFU outlet.And no, they would've probably made it far worse considering Nisoor Square incident.

Becuase had Blackwater been assigned as a peackekeeping force there, they would have acted to stop the slaughter. Unlike the UN forces there who had their hands tied by political mismanagement and confusion, Blackwater would simply have done their jobs.

Im not sure what you mean by that remark. But I am sure of 1 thing. If Blackwater had existed and had been deployed in large numbers to Medak pocket as a protective element, the ethnic cleansing which took place there would not have happened.

Also if New Orleans thought Blackwater did such a terrible job after Katrina why did they call Blackwater for another emergency contract when Gustav was only 36 hours away? Blackwater pursued a massive temporary job campaign hiring security personell preparing for a disaster which luckily, never came.

You need to investigate the facts a bit more closely before you start pointing fingers. It was the fucking police and the national guard that confiscated the firearms, not Blackwater. Blackwater only provided protective security FOR the civilians there!!!
