What's wonderful about it is that they don't try to outsing each other. You can see that Ella and Jo appreciated each other and respected each other. They were real professionals and great ladies. It is nothing like what we've seen with Mariah and Whitney when they sang together, or should I say tried to outsing each other.

Jo was such an unusual person. She lived her life in show business but from start to finish stayed a normal, levelheaded person. She had a great sense of humor. But above all she was the perfect singer--crisp enunciation, incredible intonation, always on key, sensitive with a lyric. Sinatra always felt she was ideal. And she was. She has left a remarkable recorded legacy. She will never be forgotten.

Jo Stafford sang us through the War. Her voice filled our hearts and lifted our spirits when times seemed impossible. She was the standard by which all girl singers were judged. We'll miss you, Jo.

You're a classless lump of human garbage. Just being honest.

This is Jo's daughter, Amy. LOVED seeing this video. I was there when they recorded this and I loved how much fun they had singing together. We miss Mom terribly, but her passing was peaceful, at home, just as she wanted. Thanks for all of your lovely comments. She was the greatest singer, and Mom
